Install the MockGhar App (2026): Android, iPhone and PC

Last updated: October 16, 2026

You can install MockGhar on your phone or computer straight from the browser, without the Play Store or the App Store. Once installed, MockGhar sits on your home screen with its own icon, opens full screen and brings alerts for new jobs, admit cards and results right to your phone. It takes less than 1 MB and always stays up to date by itself.

Follow the steps below for your phone or computer; it takes a minute.

Why Install the App

  • Opens in one tap: the MockGhar icon on your home screen or desktop, no need to type the address
  • Stay logged in: in the app there is no 5-minute automatic logout; you stay logged in for 30 days or until you press “Log out”
  • Full screen: no address bar or tabs, so a mock test feels like the real CBT
  • Alerts: new government jobs, admit cards, answer keys and results, and last-date reminders, straight to your phone
  • Tiny: under 1 MB, no heavy download, and it does not slow your phone down
  • Always current: nothing to update, the latest information is there when you open it
  • Completely free: the same account, mock tests and alerts, with no extra charge

Install on Android (Chrome)

On most Android phones, tapping the “Install app” button above opens the install box; tap “Install” there. If the button does not open it, follow these steps:

  • Open mockghar.com in Chrome
  • Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) at the top right
  • Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”
  • Tap “Install”; the MockGhar icon appears on your home screen in a few seconds

In Samsung Internet, open the menu (☰) at the bottom → “Add page to” → “Home screen”.

Install on iPhone and iPad (Safari)

On iPhone the app installs only from Safari. This is also needed for alerts on iPhone, because iPhone shows web alerts only for a site opened from the home screen.

  • Open mockghar.com in Safari
  • Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow up) at the bottom
  • Scroll down and choose “Add to Home Screen”
  • Tap “Add” at the top right
  • Now open MockGhar from its home screen icon and turn on alerts in Dashboard → Notification settings

Install on a Computer or Laptop (Chrome, Edge)

On Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook, click the “Install app” button in the top menu in Chrome or Microsoft Edge. If it does not open the install box:

  • In Chrome, click the install icon (a monitor with a down arrow) at the right of the address bar, or open the menu (⋮) → “Cast, save and share” → “Install page as app”
  • In Edge, open the menu (…) → “Apps” → “Install this site as an app”
  • Click “Install”; MockGhar opens in its own window and also shows in the Start menu or Dock

After Installing

  • Log in and verify your email; mock tests and alerts work only on a verified account
  • Pick your exams in Dashboard → My exams, so you get alerts for those
  • Tap “Turn on alerts” in Dashboard → Notification settings and choose “Allow” on your phone
  • If you like, use “Connect Telegram” to get alerts on Telegram too

Removing the App

On Android, press and hold the MockGhar icon and choose “Uninstall” or “Remove”. On iPhone, press and hold the icon → “Remove App”. On a computer, open the menu at the top of the MockGhar window → “Uninstall”. Removing the app does not delete your account, tests or settings; log in on the website and everything is there.

Common Questions

Is this a Play Store app? No, it is a web app (PWA) that installs straight from the website. There is no separate APK file to download, so it is safe and light.

Cannot see the “Install app” button? If MockGhar is already installed, the button is hidden. Installing does not work inside in-app browsers (a link opened inside WhatsApp or Instagram); open the link in Chrome or Safari.
