CAIIB Syllabus 2026 and Exam Pattern
The CAIIB syllabus below is taken from the official notification, together with the exam pattern set by IIBF. Use it to plan your preparation subject by subject, then check yourself with our free mock tests.
CAIIB exam pattern
As per the official IIBF notification: Each compulsory paper (any of the four)

- Time: 120 minutes
- Marking: +1 for each correct answer; no negative marking for wrong answers
- Four compulsory papers: ABM, BFM, ABFM and BRBL, plus one elective; case-study questions are included.
- The compulsory papers also have some numerical questions without options, answered with the on-screen keyboard.
- No negative marking. Pass: 50/100 in each paper, or at least 45 in each with a 50% aggregate.
Topics
The official CAIIB notification lists only the sections shown in the pattern above; it does not give a topic-wise list. Questions follow the usual level of these sections for this exam.
