Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi has invited online applications for 56 non-teaching posts, through direct recruitment and deputation. The posts include Internal Audit Officer, System Administrator (IT), Section Officer, Senior Assistant, Staff Nurse, Sports Coach, Junior Library Assistant and Junior Assistant. Vacancy Details

One of the 4 Section Officer posts and one of the 6 Senior Assistant posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) on horizontal reservation. Three of the 40 Junior Assistant posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities.

Age Limit

• Internal Audit Officer and System Administrator (IT) on deputation: not exceeding 56 years
• Section Officer, Senior Assistant and Sports Coach: not exceeding 35 years
• Staff Nurse: not exceeding 30 years
• Junior Library Assistant and Junior Assistant: not exceeding 27 years

Age is counted on the last date of receipt of applications. Age relaxation is as per university rules and Government orders.

Eligibility

Each post has its own qualification and experience rules. Staff Nurse needs B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing and registration as a nurse (RN or RN and RM). Sports Coach needs a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education and a Diploma in Sports Coaching or an equivalent qualification. Junior Library Assistant needs a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science, plus a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi. Junior Assistant needs 10+2 and the same typing speed. Junior Assistant cum Caretaker also needs an ITI Trade Certificate in Civil or Plumbing. Section Officer, Senior Assistant and the deputation posts have detailed experience rules in the advertisement.

Application Fee

• Group A (Internal Audit Officer, System Administrator (IT)): Rs.1000
• Group B (Section Officer, Senior Assistant, Staff Nurse): Rs.500
• Group C (Sports Coach, Junior Library Assistant, Junior Assistant): Rs.300

The fee applies to UR, OBC and EWS candidates. SC, ST, PWD and women candidates are exempt. Applications without the required fee will be rejected.

Selection Process

Selection may be done through a test or interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited. Meeting the minimum qualification does not by itself entitle a candidate to a test or interview. The scheme of examination is available on the official website.
