A&N AYUSH Society MO-cum-CHO Recruitment 2026

The A&N State AYUSH Society (NAM) has issued a vacancy notice for 1 post of MO-cum-CHO (Ayurveda) on a contract basis. Pay is up to Rs 40,000 per month. Applications must be sent offline and must reach the office on or before 19 November 2026 by 4.00 PM.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Essential: A degree in Ayurveda from a recognized University, Statutory State Board, Council or Faculty of Indian Medicine, or an equivalent recognized under the Indian Medical Central Council Act 1970 / NCISM Act 2020.
• Essential: Enrolment in the State Register or Central Register of Ayurveda.
• Desirable: 2 years of Ayurveda practice in a recognized hospital or dispensary.
• Age: Not above 45 years. Relaxable as per norms of A&N Administration.

Application Fee

• The notice does not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

• Appointment will be made purely on merit.
• Candidates may be shortlisted for interview based on criteria approved by the competent authority.
• No individual call letters will be issued for the interview.
• No TA/DA is payable for attending the interview.
• The engagement is purely on contract for 11 months. The notice says this is not a promise of regular appointment.

How to Apply

• Take the prescribed application form on A4 size paper and fill in all details.
• A passport-size photograph of the candidate must be attached. Applications without a photo will be rejected.
• Enclose self-attested copies of academic certificates, experience certificates stating nature and period of experience, and one identity proof (Aadhar, PAN, Islander Card, Local Certificate or Driving License).
• Write "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ……" on the cover.
