| Period of appointment | Initially one year, with a break during May-June vacation months. Further extension will be decided by the University from time to time. |
Eligibility
- Essential: A Master's degree in Forensic Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale) in a concerned, relevant or allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR. Ph.D. degree holders may be exempted from NET as per UGC Regulations 2018.
- Desirable: One year experience in teaching, research or laboratory in Forensic Science, and a Ph.D.

- General candidates: Rs 950
- SC/ST candidates: Rs 195
- Payment is only online, through net banking or credit/debit cards of almost all banks. Payment by cash, cheque or DD is not accepted. The fee is not refundable.
Selection Process
- The notification does not give a separate selection process. Communal Reservation Policy will be followed at the time of appointment.
