Vikarabad Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 - 264 Posts

The District Welfare Officer of the Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare Department, Vikarabad District, Telangana, has issued Notification No. 164/A/DWO/VKB/2026 dated 09.10.2026 to fill 264 vacant posts in the ICDS projects of Kodangal, Marpalli, Pargi, Tandur and Vikarabad. There are 102 Anganwadi Teacher posts and 162 Anganwadi Helper posts. Only eligible women candidates can apply, online on the department website, from 10 October 2026 to 24 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM. After applying online, candidates must submit attested copies of their documents at the concerned ICDS project office from 26 October to 1 November 2026.

Vacancy Details

• Each vacancy is for a particular Anganwadi centre, and the list of centres is published by the department with the reserved category of each post.

Eligibility

• Only women candidates who are eligible can apply for these posts.
• Qualifications, age limit, local residence (nativity), reservation, the method of selection, terms and conditions and other full details are given on the department website, wdcw.tg.nic.in.
• Reservation is applied as per the reservation fixed for each Anganwadi centre, and women candidates belonging to that reservation can apply for it.
• Read the full notification for your project and centre before you apply, as the eligibility and the reserved category differ from one centre to another.

Application Fee

• The notification does not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

• The method of selection is given in the detailed notification on the department website.
• The District Collector and Chairman, Vikarabad, has the full authority to cancel, postpone or change this recruitment process, or to issue more instructions.
• Only applications submitted online will be considered.

How to Apply

• Apply only online through the department website, wdcw.tg.nic.in, which takes you to the Anganwadi Teacher/Helper recruitment system.
• Applications must be completed by 24 October 2026, 5:00 PM.
• After applying online, go to the office of the concerned ICDS project (Kodangal, Marpalli, Pargi, Tandur or Vikarabad) between 26 October and 1 November 2026, during office hours, and submit your application along with gazetted-officer attested copies of the required certificates.
• Applications made in any other way, and applications without the documents, will not be considered.
