JMI Dentistry Internship 2026 - 11 Seats

The Faculty of Dentistry at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has invited applications from external candidates for internship. There are 11 vacant seats for the academic session 2026-2027. Candidates who passed the final BDS examination on or before 15.11.2026 can apply. Applications in the prescribed form, with the required documents, must reach the Office of the Dean in New Delhi by 16.11.2026, 04:00 PM.

Important Dates

• Last date of submission of application: 16.11.2026 up to 04:00 PM
• Date of verification of documents: 18.11.2026
• Date of interview: 23.11.2026 from 11:00 AM onwards
• Venue of interview: Conference Room, Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia
• Declaration of result (tentative): 27.11.2026
• Commencement of internship: 01.12.2026

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• The candidate must have passed the final BDS examination on or before 15.11.2026.
• Internship will be allowed for one year as per NDC guideline. Part internship is not permitted.
• A No Objection Certificate from the parent institution is required, stating that the institution was recognised by the National Dental Commission (Erstwhile DCI) during the candidate's study.

Application Fee

• Training fees of ₹1,75,000/- are to be paid by the selected candidate before the start of internship, by Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, JMI", payable at New Delhi.
• The fee will be non refundable after the start of training period.

Selection Process

• Selection will be made on the basis of merit and interview.
• Application without requisite documents will be summarily rejected.
• The Institute is not responsible for any delay due to postal delivery or any other agency.

How to Apply

• Fill the prescribed application form and affix two photographs, one self attested.
• Attach the required documents: reason for internship, self attested marksheets of all BDS parts, attempt certificate, NOC, university permission, character certificate and the undertaking.
• Submit at the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, JMI, New Delhi-110025.
