The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) has invited offline applications for 2 contract (temporary) posts of Counsellor for student and university counselling services at its Thiruvarur campus. Eligibility
The essential qualification is a two-year M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an institution recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Other accepted routes are a Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology from an RCI-recognised institution, or a Ph.D. in Counselling, Clinical, Psychology or Applied Psychology with a regular postgraduate degree in Psychology or a related field.
For the diploma and degree routes, at least one year of relevant counselling experience after completing the qualifying degree is required, preferably in a higher educational institution. Valid registration with RCI or NCAHP (National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions) is mandatory. The official website has the full list of desirable qualifications.
