Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla has invited online applications for 2 posts of Professor of Law (Regular), both in the UR category. The last date to apply online is 21 November 2026 at 5:00 PM. Applications must be submitted through the HPNLU ERP Portal, and offline applications will not be accepted.

Eligibility
- Educational and technical qualifications: same as prescribed under UGC Regulations 2018 for Professor of Law.
- Service conditions, including salary and allowances, will be as per HPNLU Shimla Rules and Regulations.
- Applicants must not be engaged elsewhere on salary or honorarium basis, must not have any pending or past criminal case, and must not face any disciplinary proceeding before the Bar Council or any other authority.
- Meeting the minimum qualifications does not by itself entitle a candidate to be called for the test or interview.
Application Fee
- Application fee: Rs. 3000 (non-refundable)
- Fee can be paid only through the online payment gateway on the ERP Portal.
Selection Process
- If applications are large in number, the University may shortlist candidates on the basis of qualifications or experience higher than the minimum.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for test or interview.
- For the Professor post, applicants must fill and upload the API Score Form.
How to Apply
- Register on the HPNLU ERP Portal (erphpnlu.in) and submit the online application.
- After submitting, download the application form from the ERP Portal and attach documents for the API points claimed.
