Chandigarh Sports Council Female Hockey Coach 2026

The Chandigarh Sports Council has invited applications for one post of Assistant Female Hockey Coach on a purely contract basis at the Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE), Chandigarh. The post is under the Khelo India Scheme in joint venture with the Sports Authority of India (SAI). The remuneration is Rs 40,000-60,000. Applications must be submitted offline, and the last date is 2 November 2026.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Graduate with diploma in coaching from SAI, NS NIS or any other recognized Indian/Foreign University, or Olympic/International participation, or Dronacharya Awardee
• Maximum age: 40 years on the last date of receipt of application
• Age proof: only the Matriculation or Higher Secondary certificate (or equivalent) is accepted as proof of date of birth; affidavits, horoscopes and similar documents are not accepted

Application Fee

Selection Process

• Applications will be scrutinized and shortlisted on the basis of relevant experience and job description.
• Eligible candidates will be called for an interview at their own cost.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
• The decision of the Chandigarh Sports Council on eligibility, selection and posting is final and binding.

• Apply in the prescribed format (Annexure A) with self-attested copies of educational qualification, experience certificate, sports achievement certificate and a recent passport size photograph.
• Submit the application to the Secretary, Chandigarh Sports Council, Hockey Stadium, Sports Complex, Sector-42, Chandigarh.
• The appointment is purely on contract basis and does not give any right to permanent employment.
• The Chandigarh Sports Council reserves the right to withdraw the advertisement or increase or decrease any post at any time without assigning any reason.
