Bhatkhande Sanskriti University, Lucknow has invited applications for 14 accompanist (Sangatkarta) posts. The posts are for Tabla, Sarangi and Vocal (Folk Dance) and are at level-4 pay of Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100. The last date to apply is 23 November 2026. The notice was published on 24 October 2026. Category-wise numbers as per the notice: Unreserved 2, Other Backward Class 6, Scheduled Caste 4, Economically Weaker Section 1, and Divyang 1. The total is 14.

Eligibility

• Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years. Scheduled Caste and Other Backward Class candidates get 05 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
• Candidates with experience and special qualification get an extra 05 years relaxation (maximum age 40 years).
• Education: Graduate/Visharad/equivalent in the relevant discipline with at least 55 percent marks. For Scheduled Caste candidates, 50 percent marks are valid.
• Preference: Three years of work experience in the relevant discipline.
• Preference: Graded artist qualification in All India Radio.

Application Fee

• General category: Rs 500
• Scheduled Caste: Rs 300 (not refundable in any situation)
• Pay by demand draft in favour of "Kulsachiv, Bhatkhande Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Lucknow".

Selection Process

• Selection is by interview, and candidates must give a performance at the time of interview.
• No travel expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
