JAIIB November 2026 Exam Dates: Paper-wise Schedule

The Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) will hold the JAIIB November 2026 exam online, starting with Paper I (Indian Economy & Indian Financial System) on 1 November 2026 and ending with Paper IV on 29 November 2026. Each paper has about 100 objective questions for 100 marks in 2 hours, and there is no negative marking.

• Paper I – Indian Economy & Indian Financial System: 1 November 2026
• Paper II – Principles & Practices of Banking: 22 November 2026
• Paper III – Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers: 28 November 2026
• Paper IV – Retail Banking & Wealth Management: 29 November 2026

Admit Letter

• Status: not released yet (as on 15 October 2026)
• When: IIBF makes admit letters available 10–15 days before the exam, with your venue and time slot
• Login: your membership or registration number and your profile password
• Carry: a printed admit letter and an original photo identity card

Exam Pattern

• Mode: online only
• Questions: about 100 objective questions per paper for 100 marks (IIBF may vary the number)
• Time: 2 hours per paper
• Negative marking: none
• Medium: Hindi or English, as chosen at registration; it cannot be changed later

Passing Marks

• Pass: 50 out of 100 in each paper, or at least 45 in each paper with a 50% aggregate in one attempt
• Papers already passed keep their credit within the time limit
• Time limit: 5 attempts within 3 years of first registration

Calculator and Exam-day Rules

• Calculator: a basic battery-operated calculator with up to 8 functions (+, −, ×, ÷, %, √, Tax+, Tax−) and 12 digits; scientific calculators are not allowed
• You cannot leave the exam hall in the first 60 minutes
• Current affairs: for exams held between September and February, IIBF covers regulatory guidelines and developments up to 30 June, so this exam covers them up to 30 June 2026

Who Can Appear

• Members of IIBF working in a bank or financial institution that is an institutional member of IIBF
• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam (IIBF may admit some clerical or supervisory staff without it, on their branch's recommendation)
