NIT Calicut (National Institute of Technology, Calicut) has issued an advertisement to engage two Counselling Psychologists on a contract basis. Eligibility

• Educational qualification: Master's degree in Psychology (M.A/M.Sc. in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/Counselling Psychology/Applied Psychology) or MSW with specialisation in Psychiatry / Mental health.
• Preferred qualification: RCI recognised professional qualification with valid RCI/CRR registration, such as M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology, P.D. CI. Psy., or P.G.D.R.P.
• Experience: Two years of experience in counselling.
• Age limit: Preferably below 50 years.
• Tenure: Initially one year, extendable based on performance and requirement.
• Desirable: Good oral and written skills in Hindi and English.
• Candidates must be citizens of India.

• SC/ST/Women/ESM/PwBD candidates: ₹250
• Other candidates: ₹500

Selection Process

• The selection committee may conduct any skill test and/or trade test.
• Originals of certificates and a Government-issued photo ID must be produced at the selection process.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the selection process.
• Selected candidates will be informed by email or mobile and are expected to join immediately.
