NHM Chandigarh Recruitment 2026 Out

The National Health Mission (NHM), U.T. Chandigarh has invited applications for 7 contractual posts: Dental Assistant (NOHP), Dispenser Ayurvedic (AYUSH) and Pharmacist (NUHM). Applications are offline. The last date to apply is 23.10.2026, up to 1:00 pm. The list of eligible candidates and details of the written test will be displayed on the official website on 20.11.2026.

Vacancy Details

Of the 5 Dental Assistant posts, 4 are for the General category and 1 is for OBC. The 1 Dispenser Ayurvedic post is for SC, and the 1 Pharmacist post is for General.

Eligibility

• Age limit: up to 60 years for this category
• Dental Assistant (NOHP): 10+2 with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) from a recognized board (full time course). Also a Dental Chair side Assistant Diploma or 3-5 years of experience in a Dental College or Dental Clinic.
• Dispenser Ayurvedic (AYUSH): Degree in Ayurvedic Pharmacy or Diploma in Ayurvedic Pharmacy (course of at least two years) from a recognized University or institution. Registration with the State Government Ayurvedic regulatory Board or Council is required. Two years of experience in an Ayurvedic Dispensary, Hospital, Pharmacy or wellness centre.
• Pharmacist (NUHM): D-Pharma or Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University, with a one year Diploma in Computer Applications. Registration as Pharmacist with U.T. Chandigarh Pharmacy Council is required.

Selection Process

• Written test: 100 marks

How to Apply

• Get the Application Format (bio-data) from the official website and fill it in.
• Attach self-attested photocopies of certificates and testimonials from matriculation onwards, along with one recent attested passport size photograph.
• Send the application to the Office of the Mission Director, National Health Mission, 4th Floor, Administrative Block, Govt. Multi Speciality Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh.
• Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be accepted.
• For OBC claim, a certificate from the competent authority is required, as per the Central list of OBCs for U.T. Chandigarh.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the written test.
• The Mission Director, NHM can increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the written test without giving any reason.
