The GPSC Exam Schedule 2026 released by the Gujarat Public Service Commission on 14 October 2026 fixes the preliminary test (general studies) of 15 Class-1 and Class-2 advertisements on 13 December 2026. The second test (the related-subject prelims or the main exam) follows between 7 January and 6 February 2027. Most of these posts are with the Gujarat Maritime Board, and several are under a special recruitment drive for persons with disabilities.

How GPSC Exams Work
- Most GPSC Class-1 and Class-2 recruitments start with a preliminary test of general studies, followed by a test of the related subject or a main exam, and then an interview.
- Only candidates who qualify the first test are called for the second one.
- The commission issues call letters on its OJAS portal before each test.

GPSC has also asked candidates of several of these advertisements (for example Nos. 48 to 51) to upload their documents online; check the important notices on the GPSC website for your advertisement number.
How to Prepare
- Revise general studies with a focus on Gujarat: its history, geography, economy and current affairs.
- For the second test, study the subject syllabus of your post as given in the advertisement.
- Download call letters well in time and keep a printed copy with a photo ID.
