Korba District Court Assistant Grade 3 Recruitment 2026

The Office of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Korba (Chhattisgarh) has issued an advertisement dated 16 October 2026 for direct recruitment to 12 posts of Assistant Grade-3 (Evidence Writer, Process Writer and Execution Clerk) in the Korba district court establishment. Applications must be made in the prescribed form and sent only by post, so that they reach the office by 5:00 PM on 30 October 2026. Selection is through a 50-mark written exam followed by a computer typing skill test.

Eligibility

• Graduation from a recognised university.
• A one-year computer diploma course from a recognised board or university.
• Knowledge of Hindi and English typing on computer. A typing exam pass certificate from a recognised board must be attached.
• Knowledge of Chhattisgarhi or the local dialect is expected.
• Age: 18 to 35 years as on 1 January 2026; up to 40 years for local residents of Chhattisgarh.
• Age relaxation: up to 5 years for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Chhattisgarh, 3 years for state government and corporation employees, and other relaxations as per state rules. With all relaxations, the age cannot be more than 45 years.

Salary

• Pay scale: ₹19,500 to ₹62,000 (Level-4).
• Selected candidates are appointed on a probation period of three years.

Selection Process

• Written exam: 25 objective questions on general knowledge, current affairs, general mathematics and general mental ability; 2 marks each, total 50 marks; time 45 minutes.
• Candidates are called for the skill test category-wise, 10 for each post, on the basis of the written exam merit. All candidates with the same marks as the last one are also called.
• Skill test: 250 marks, 10 minutes. A 250-word passage must be typed on a computer with Ubuntu Linux, LibreOffice and a Unicode font (such as Mangal). One mark is cut for every missed or wrong word; formatting such as heading, bold, paragraph or underline also counts as an error.
• The final category-wise select list is made on the skill test marks. A waiting list equal to the number of posts is also issued and is valid for one year. In case of equal marks, the older candidate is preferred.

How to Apply

• Download the application form given with the advertisement from the official website of the Korba district court.
• Fill in the form completely and paste a recent self-attested passport-size colour photo.
• Attach self-attested copies of educational and technical qualifications, typing certificate, age, caste and domicile certificates, and an ID such as Aadhaar card, driving licence or voter ID.
• Write the category, the post name and the office name on the envelope. Government employees must attach a no-objection certificate.
• Send the application only by post. Forms received by any other means, after the deadline, or in a different format will not be accepted.
• The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be published on the court website; claims or objections can be made in person within seven days. Admit cards for the skill test must be downloaded from the website.
