IBPS PO Syllabus 2026 and Exam Pattern
The IBPS PO syllabus below is taken from the official notification, together with the exam pattern set by IBPS. Use it to plan your preparation subject by subject.
IBPS PO exam pattern
As per the official IBPS notification: Prelims (CRP PO/MT-XVI)

- Time: 60 minutes (each section has its own timer)
- Marking: +1 for each correct answer, −0.25 for each wrong answer
- Each section has its own 20-minute timer; unused time does not carry over.
- Five options per question; a wrong answer costs 1/4 of that question's marks.
- From 2026 Quantitative Aptitude carries 30 marks and Reasoning 40; each section has its own cut-off too.
