• Eligible officers: Officers of Central / State / Union Territory Governments, Universities, Central Statutory / Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, and Research and Development Organizations.
• Experience (a): Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or 5 years' regular service in PB-3 with Grade Pay of ₹6,600.
• Qualification (b): Graduate in Commerce or Economics (with Accounts and Audit as major subjects) who has passed the SAS examination; or a Chartered Accountant.
• Upper age limit: not exceeding 56 years as on closing date.
• Deputation period: ordinarily 3 years from the date of appointment, extendable as per DoPT orders.
