The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) West Karbi Anglong has invited applications to engage 20 Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) at its office in Hamren. This is an offline recruitment. Applications must reach the office on or before 30.11.2026 (till 5.00 pm). Only residents of West Karbi Anglong district can apply.

Eligibility

• Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• Education: Matriculation (10th pass) is required.
• Age: Minimum 18 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Groups: Teachers (including retired), retired government servants and senior citizens, MSW students and teachers, Anganwadi workers, doctors, law students (till they enrol as lawyers), members of non-political service NGOs and clubs, members of women neighbourhood groups, Maithri Singhams and self-help groups, educated prisoners with good behaviour serving long sentences, and any other person the DLSA deems fit.

Honorarium

• The work carries no salary. Only an honorarium fixed by the DLSA from time to time is paid.

Selection Process

• Selection is by interview of shortlisted candidates after scrutiny.
• The shortlist and interview date will be notified on the official website.
• No individual call letters will be issued.
• No TA/DA is provided for the interview.

• Attach self-attested copies of educational qualification, age proof and caste certificates.
• Paste one passport size photo on the form and staple a second recent photo on top. Sign the form.
