TISS Cleaner cum Hostel Attendant Recruitment 2026

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has invited applications for 3 posts of Cleaner cum Hostel Attendant-MTS (Hostel) on contract basis. The job is at the Mumbai campus, RCF Hostel JET III, and is open to male candidates only. The initial contract is for 11 months and can be extended based on performance and the Institute's needs. The last date to apply is 10 November 2026.

Eligibility

• Minimum qualification: 10th standard from a government recognised school.
• Literacy: Basic reading and writing skills in Marathi, Hindi or English, to understand safety labels, chemical instructions and guest requests.
• Preferred experience: Certificate in Hospitality, Housekeeping or Hostel Maintenance, and 6 months to 2 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in hostels, hotels, guest houses, hospitals or student dormitories is useful.
• Other conditions: The post is unreserved but open to all categories. The Institute may relax qualification, experience or age limits in exceptional cases.

• After review, shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail or mobile phone.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interaction on 17 November 2026.
• No TA/DA is payable for attending the interview.
• The selected candidate must join immediately.
