DPPO Dumka Fasal Rakshak Recruitment 2026

The Crop Protection Officer's office (DPPO), Dumka has invited applications for 11 Fasal Rakshak (Crop Protector) posts under the Fasal Suraksha Karyakram Yojana for financial year 2026-27. These are temporary, honorarium-based posts at Plant Protection Centres across Dumka district. Applications are accepted only by registered post or speed post, and the last date is 14 November 2026.

Vacancy Details

• Category-wise: Unreserved (UR) 5, Scheduled Tribe (ST) 5, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) 1
• Tenure: 11 months (or until regular appointment, whichever is earlier)
• Monthly honorarium: Rs 11851
• Category-wise split is based on the model reservation roster for Dumka district.

Eligibility

• Matriculation / 10th pass from a recognised institution.
• Must have completed a minimum 5-day training under the Agriculture or Horticulture Directorate of the Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperation, Jharkhand.
• Knowledge of the local language.
• Ability to ride a cycle and climb trees.
• Applicant must be a local resident of the same block for which the application is made.
• Age: minimum 18 years. Maximum age is 35 years for UR, 35 years for EWS and 40 years for ST.

Application Fee

• The notice does not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

• Selection is based on a total of 100 marks: education (up to 60), local residence (up to 10) and training (up to 30).
• Education marks: 10th percentage x 0.4 (max 40), 12th percentage x 0.1 (max 10), graduation percentage x 0.1 (max 10).
• Local resident candidates get 10 marks.
• Training: five-day training 20 marks, two-day training 10 marks.
• Candidates must be able to ride a cycle and climb trees.
