Pay and Period

Eligibility
- Education: Matric (Class 10) pass from a recognised institution
- Training: at least one 5-day training under the Directorate of Agriculture and Horticulture is compulsory
- Knowledge of the local language
- Able to ride a bicycle and climb trees
- Must live in the block where the Plant Protection Centre is located
- Age: at least 18 years; the upper age limit is as fixed by the government for each category
