Eligibility
- Qualification: Master's degree with 55% marks in Museology or History of Art, or Master's degree with 55% marks in Ancient Indian History, Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, Persian, Arabic, Archaeology, Anthropology, Fine Arts or allied subjects, along with a diploma or certificate in Museology.
- Experience: 3 years in a museum of national or regional importance under the Central/State Government or Union Territory, including one year of practical experience in collection, conservation and exhibition of art objects.
- Desirable: research experience in a museum with published research work, and practical training in the relevant field.
- Maximum age: 40 years.

- General, OBC and EWS: Rs 1,000
- SC / ST / Women / PwBD / Ex-servicemen: Rs 500
- Candidates who applied earlier against Advt. No. R/NT/2025/01 dated 14.01.2025 must apply afresh online and need not pay the fee. They must give details of fees paid earlier and upload the fee receipt to claim the waiver.
Selection Process
- Meeting the minimum qualification does not by itself entitle a candidate to an interview. The Screening Committee will set its own criteria to shortlist candidates.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
- Call letters will be sent by email only to eligible candidates.
