VPA Dy. Chief Vigilance Officer Post 2026

Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) has invited applications to fill one post of Dy. Chief Vigilance Officer (Class-I) on deputation basis. The pay scale is Rs.60,000-1,80,000. Only eligible and willing officers of Major Port Authorities can apply, as per the recruitment rules. Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Recruitment is by deputation. Officers holding analogous posts in Major Port Authorities, or officers in the pay scale of Rs.50,000-1,60,000 (pre-revised Rs.20,600-46,500 / Rs.10,750-16,750) with 3 years regular service in the grade in Major Port Authorities, can apply.
• As per the recruitment rule, failing officers from Major Port Authorities, officers of Central Govt/State Govt/PSUs/Autonomous Bodies with similar grade may be considered.
• Maximum age for consideration is 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
• Overall grading in APARs should not be below "Very Good".
• Deputation will normally be for 3 years and in any case not exceed 5 years.

Application Fee

• The notice does not mention any application fee.

Selection Process

• Selection is by merit.
• Incomplete applications and applications without enclosures will not be considered.
• The decision of the Appointing Authority will be final.
• An officer who withdraws candidature after selection can be debarred from future selection in this Port Authority for 2 years.

How to Apply

• Send the application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) through proper channel.
• Superscribe the envelope: "Application for the post of Dy. Chief Vigilance Officer in Visakhapatnam Port Authority".
• Enclose: attested certificates of educational qualifications and experience, ACRs/APARs for 2021-22 to 2025-26, No-objection Certificate, undertaking not to withdraw if selected, vigilance and administrative clearance (Annexure-III), head of office certificate (Annexure-IV), and two recent passport size photos in a sealed envelope.
• Terms of deputation are given in Annexure-V of the notice.
• The port authority may change the terms if needed, without assigning any reason.
