VPA Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026: 20 ITI Posts

Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA), Andhra Pradesh has invited online applications for 20 Trade Apprentice seats in its Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department under the Apprentices Act, 1961. ITI pass candidates in Welder, Electrician, Fitter, Motor Mechanic and Electronics Mechanic trades can apply on the NAPS apprenticeship portal from 4 November 2026 to 3 December 2026. Training lasts one year with a monthly stipend.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• ITI pass in the same trade.
• Minimum age 14 years as on 3 December 2026.
• Reservation for SC, ST and OBC as per the Apprentices Act.

Selection Process

• Merit of aggregate ITI marks, then certificate verification of shortlisted candidates.
• Children of VPA employees get preference in the ratio 4:1:1 (VPA, CHD, outsiders).
• No TA, DA, boarding or lodging is paid, and VPA does not promise a job after training.
