Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has issued a notice for Executive Trainee (ET) recruitment of engineering graduates through GATE 2025. A total of 108 posts are open in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, C & I and Mining disciplines, with online applications invited. The pay scale is Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 per month (Pay Matrix Level-10). The last date for payment of the application fee is 06/12/2026, and applications are accepted only through the DVC official website.

The projected vacancies may increase or decrease depending on future requirements and the discretion of the DVC Management. 08 overall vacancies are reserved for PwBD candidates.
Eligibility
- Age limit: 29 years for Unreserved candidates as on the closing date of online application. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen is as per Government of India guidelines. There is no upper age limit for DVC Departmental candidates.
- Education: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline, with not less than 65% marks for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS and 60% marks for SC/ST/PwD candidates, in aggregate of all years/semesters.
- GATE 2025: Candidates must have appeared in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper and qualified in it. Only GATE 2025 marks (out of 100) are valid for this recruitment.
Application Fee
- General, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates must pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 300 through online mode only. Bank charges are to be borne by the candidate.
- SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and DVC Departmental candidates are exempted from the fee.
Selection Process
- Selection is based only on marks obtained in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) in order of merit, in the ratio of 1:5 or more to the category-wise vacancies in each discipline.
- Date, time and venue of DV will be shown only on the DVC website. No call letter will be sent by post.
