• Who can apply: Officers of the Central or State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, autonomous bodies, statutory organisations, public sector undertakings, or recognised universities and research institutes, who hold an analogous post on regular basis or have the required years of service in level-9 or level-8 of the pay matrix
• Maximum age: Not exceeding 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application (for deputation)
• Armed Forces personnel: Lieutenant or equivalent rank, due to retire or be transferred to reserve within one year
