Sonbhadra Yoga Instructor Recruitment 2026 - 19 Posts

The office of the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer and District Homeopathic Medical Officer, Sonbhadra (Uttar Pradesh), has invited applications for 19 contract posts of Yoga Assistant and Yoga Instructor under the National AYUSH Mission, for the Ayush Health and Wellness Centres (Yoga Wellness Centres). Vacancy Details

• Preference is given to local candidates for the Yoga Instructor posts.
• Yoga Instructors must hold at least 32 yoga sessions of 1 hour each every month, and women instructors hold 20 sessions for women's groups.

Eligibility

• Yoga Assistant: High School or Intermediate, a Yoga certificate course of at least 3 months, and 3 years of experience in a naturopathy clinic or hospital or a yoga centre.
• Yoga Instructor: a B.A., M.Sc. or M.A. in Yoga with 1 year of experience, or a PG Diploma in Yoga (at least 1 year) with 2 years of experience, or a Yoga Wellness Instructor certificate from the Yoga Certification Board, New Delhi. Only experience gained after the qualification counts.
• Age limit: 21 to 65 years as on 1 July 2026.

Selection and Terms

• Selection is by interview. No travel allowance is paid.
• The engagement is for one year, and any extension is decided by the Ministry of AYUSH.
• Candidates not found satisfactory can be removed with a one-month notice, and a character verification is done.

• Send it by registered or speed post to the office of the Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Pipri Road, Imarti Colony, Robertsganj, Sonbhadra, with the name of the post written on the envelope.
• Attach self-attested copies of the educational, experience and age certificates, a recent passport-size photograph, and a 23 x 10 cm self-addressed envelope with a Rs. 25 stamp.
