Gir Somnath APP Recruitment 2026: 6 Prosecutor Posts

The District Magistrate, Gir Somnath, Gujarat has issued a notice dated 30 October 2026 to prepare a panel for six (06) Additional Public Prosecutor posts in the district courts of Gir Somnath. The panel is made under Section 18(4) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and the Gujarat prosecuting officer rules of 2026. Law graduates who meet the conditions below can send the application form by Speed Post so that it reaches the office by 16 November 2026.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• A law graduate with at least 7 years of active practice as an advocate.
• Age: at least 30 years and not more than 55 years. The appointee can serve up to the age of 60.
• Must have paid income tax for at least the last 3 years before the appointment.

Fees and Selection

• Selected advocates get fees and allowances under the Gujarat prosecuting officer rules of 2026.
• Eligible applicants are called for an interview and must come with original certificates at their own cost.
