The Gujarat Road Safety Authority (Gujarat RSA), Gandhinagar, is inviting applications for 2 Legal Assistant posts on a temporary, one-time basis for 11 months. Candidates with an LLB degree can apply by 20 November 2026. The pay is Rs 25,000 per month.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognised university or institution.
• Knowledge of computer and MS Office.
• Candidates must have supporting documents for qualification and experience.
• This service will not be treated as a permanent government job.

Scope of Work

• Coordinating cases pending in the Supreme Court and with advocates engaged by the state government.
• Preparing para-wise remarks, affidavits, replies and written submissions for Supreme Court cases.
• Ensuring compliance with Supreme Court orders in coordination with concerned branches.
• Drafting legal notices, agreements, MoUs and guidelines.
• Giving legal opinions on RTI Act, 2005 applications and appeals.

Selection Process

• After the last date, an internal committee of the office will scrutinise applications and documents.
• Eligible candidates will be called for an interview.
• The final selection will be made by the internal committee of the office.

Important Conditions

• Appointment is purely temporary (One Time Basis) for 11 months.
• Service can be ended at any time without prior notice if work is not satisfactory or for other reasons.
• One casual leave per month will be allowed.
• If the information given is wrong or incomplete, the application or selection can be cancelled.
• The Authority can change the conditions or cancel or postpone the process for valid reasons.
