Assam CM Fellow Recruitment 2026 - 256 Posts

The Chief Minister's Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) Society under the Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprise Department, Government of Assam, has released a recruitment notice for Chief Minister's Fellows. There are 256 fellow posts. Applications are online and close at 11:59 p.m. (IST) on 14 November 2026. Candidates need an MBA, an MBA-equivalent qualification, or a Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy or Development Studies.

CMAAA promotes entrepreneurship among educated youth in Assam through training, financial help, guidance and market access. Fellows will mentor beneficiaries in turning their ideas into viable enterprises. The fellowship lasts 24 months.

Eligibility

• Education: MBA, an MBA-equivalent qualification, or a Master's degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy or Development Studies, with a meritorious record from a reputed university or institution.
• Minimum marks: 60% or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying postgraduate degree or MBA-equivalent qualification only. This does not apply separately to Class 10, Class 12 or graduation.
• Languages: proficiency in local languages of Assam, English and Hindi, with strong oral and written communication skills.
• Computer: adequate knowledge of computer applications needed for the duties.
• Candidates from premier institutions such as IIMs, IITs, IRMA, TISS and NIRD are preferred.

Salary and Tenure

• Performance is evaluated every six months against agreed KPIs, and continuation depends on these evaluations.
