Gauhati High Court Despatch Rider Recruitment 2026: 3 Posts

The Gauhati High Court has issued an advertisement dated 2 November 2026 for direct recruitment to 3 posts of Despatch Rider (Group-C) in its Aizawl Bench, Mizoram. The posts are unreserved and carry Pay Level-2 (Rs 19,900 to Rs 44,400). Applications are online only, from 6 November 2026 (3 PM) to 21 November 2026, and the fee can be paid till 27 November 2026. Candidates need a middle school pass, a two-wheeler and LMV driving licence, and working knowledge of the Mizo language.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Passed the Middle School Leaving Certificate.
• A two-wheeler driving licence along with a Light Motor Vehicle licence.
• Working knowledge of Mizo up to middle school standard.
• Age: 18 to 35 for unreserved and 18 to 40 for SC/ST, on the last date of application.

Application Fee

• Unreserved: Rs 500
• SC/ST: Rs 250

Selection Process

• Written test of 60 marks, one hour, OMR: road signs 10, General English 20, GK 10 and Mizo 20 (Mizo is qualifying, 8 of 20 needed).
• Skill test of 40 marks on a two-wheeler for 5 candidates per post; 20 marks needed.
• Interview of 20 marks for 3 candidates per post; 12 marks needed. Final merit on the total.

• Keep a valid email and mobile number and note the registration code.
