NIHFW Recruitment 2026: 9 Posts on Deputation

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi has issued a vacancy notice to fill 9 deputation posts: Accounts Officer, Accountant and Programmer. For the Programmer post, if no suitable candidate is found on deputation, direct recruitment applications will be considered. Applications must be sent offline in the prescribed format. Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Citizenship: candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Age: not more than 56 years as on the closing date for deputation posts; the crucial date for age is 01/07/2026.
• Deputation candidates: officers under Central Government, State Govts., UT Govts., Autonomous or Statutory organizations.
• Accounts Officer: analogous post on regular basis, or 5 years in Pay Band-2 (Grade Pay 4200), and a pass in SAS exam or ISTM training with minimum 3 years cash and accounts experience.
• Accountant: analogous post on regular basis or regular service in Pay Band-1, and ISTM training in cash and accounts work with two years' experience in cash, accounts and budget work.
• Programmer: 2 years in Pay Band-2 (Grade Pay 4200) on regular basis, plus the qualifications prescribed for direct recruits.
• Direct recruit Programmer: age not exceeding 30 years; Master's degree in Computer Applications, IT or Computer Science, or B.E./B.Tech in computer fields, and two years' experience in web development or management.

• Accounts Officer and Accountant: Nil.
• Programmer (deputation): Nil.
• Programmer (direct recruitment): Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order of Rs. 300/- in favour of Director, NIHFW, payable at New Delhi.
• No fee for SC, ST, PwD and female candidates.

Selection Process

The Institute may conduct a written test or interview at its discretion, and selection will be on merit. The Director's decision will be final.
