The TNPSC Group 4 2026 last date has been extended. Through Addendum No. 11B/2026 dated 4 November 2026, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission extended the last date for the online application of the Combined Civil Services Examination - IV (Group IV Services) to 8 November 2026, 11:59 PM. The original last date was 5 November 2026. The recruitment, Notification No. 11/2026 (Advertisement No. 747) of 6 October 2026, has 6,574 vacancies, and all other conditions of the notification stay the same.

The vacancy figures include backlog vacancies for some posts. Some selected candidates (for example Junior Assistant, Post Code 3788, and Sales Assistant, Post Code 3806) may be posted outside Tamil Nadu.
Eligibility
- Education: S.S.L.C. (10th) pass is the minimum for most posts; some posts, such as Typist and Steno Typist, need technical qualifications as well.
- Age (as on 01.07.2026): for Junior Assistant posts 18 to 35 years for general candidates and for Village Administrative Officer 21 to 30 years; limits for other posts are in the notification table. Reserved categories, ex-servicemen, persons with disabilities and destitute widows get concessions as per the notification.
Application Fee
- Examination fee: Rs. 100, paid at the time of the online application.
- Special categories can claim exemption as given in Annexure II of the notification.

- Part B and Part C are evaluated only if the candidate gets at least 40% (60 marks) in Part A.

How to Apply
- Register on the One Time Registration platform and apply online at www.tnpscexams.in before 8 November 2026, 11:59 PM.
- Choose the post option carefully: "All the Posts" includes Forest Guard with Driving Licence and Forest Watcher.
- Use the correction window from 9 to 11 November 2026 to fix mistakes; no change is allowed after that.
