The District and Sessions Judge, Faridkot (Punjab) has invited applications on the prescribed proforma for one post each of Lift Operator, Worker (Creche) and Guard (Creche) at the Judicial Court Complex, Faridkot. The posts are on contract, at the DC rates approved by the Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot from time to time. Applications must reach the office by 5:00 pm on 31 October 2026, and selection is by skill test or interview.

Eligibility

• Lift Operator: Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject, and an ITI trade certificate in Electrical from a government institute or equivalent; age 18 to 37 years
• Worker (Creche): Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject; age 20 to 40 years; eligibility and selection follow the National Minimum Guidelines for Setting up and Running Creches under the Maternity Benefit Act, 2017, as circulated by the Punjab and Haryana High Court
• Guard (Creche): knowledge of Punjabi up to middle standard; age 18 to 35 years, as applicable to Group D posts in this Sessions Division

Selection Process

• Skill test or interview
• No separate call letters: the schedule is put only on the court website, and it may be changed without notice
• Bring at least one photo ID and all original documents on the day
• No TA or DA is paid for attending

How to Apply

• Step 1: Download the notice and the application proforma (link at the bottom of this page)
• Step 2: Fill in the form in capital letters, sign it and write your contact number
• Step 3: Attach self-attested copies of proof of date of birth, qualification, residence, category, Punjabi pass certificate and Aadhaar card, with two passport-size photographs
• Step 4: Put each application in a separate envelope marked, for example, "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF LIFT OPERATOR ON CONTRACT BASIS-2026"; apply separately for each post
• Step 5: Send it to the office of the District and Sessions Judge, Faridkot so that it reaches by 5:00 pm on 31 October 2026; the office is not responsible for postal delays
