KVIC Ranchi PMEGP Expert Recruitment 2026: Apply by 27 Oct

The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), State Office Ranchi (Jharkhand), under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, has invited applications for three kinds of contract posts under the PMEGP (Backward and Forward Linkages) project: Marketing Expert, Technical Expert and Retired Bank Official. Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Marketing Expert: a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or communications, or graduation in any discipline with 5 years' experience in the relevant field (preferably small-scale and village industry or handicrafts); or an MBA (Marketing) with 2 years' relevant experience. Experience in sales, marketing, advertising and brand management, good analytical and communication skills, knowledge of rural markets and the local language are expected.
• Technical Expert: a bachelor's degree in any discipline, with experience in village industries, MSME, handicrafts or cottage industries. Retired officials of KVIC, KVIB, DIC, MSME-DI, NSIC and the Coir Board, not below the rank of Assistant Director, are mentioned. Knowledge of the local language, of machinery, raw material and production processes, and of the PMEGP scheme is required.
• Retired / Ex-Bank Official: a bachelor's degree in any discipline and 15 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years as a Branch Manager, with knowledge of preparing and appraising project reports and of the local language.

Main Duties

The experts will guide and mentor units set up under PMEGP, give hand-holding support to new and old entrepreneurs, help prepare viable project reports so that fewer loan applications are rejected by banks, run marketing programmes for village industry products and monitor the progress of the units.
