Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Power Sector Southern Region, Chennai, has invited applications for one post of FTA Grade III Official Language Translator (Hindi Translator) on a fixed-term basis (Advertisement No. 1/2026). The post is unreserved. Candidates must apply online by 17 November 2026 and send the signed hard copy of the application so that it reaches Chennai by 23 November 2026.

Eligibility
- Education (any one): a Master's degree in Hindi with English at graduation level, or a Master's degree in English with Hindi at graduation level, or a Master's degree in Hindi and English, or a Bachelor's degree with Hindi and English as main subjects.
- Experience: at least 2 years of English-to-Hindi and Hindi-to-English translation work after gaining the qualification.
- Age limit: 34 years as on 1 October 2026. Relaxation: 10 years for PwBD candidates, and ex-servicemen as per government rules.
Application Fee
- Rs. 250, paid online through SB Collect, and it is not refunded.
- SC, ST, ex-servicemen and PwBD candidates do not pay the fee.
Selection Process
- If the applications exceed 25 times the vacancy, candidates are shortlisted on their graduation marks.
- Shortlisted candidates are called for a personal interview.
