AEES Teaching Recruitment 2026 - 254 PGT, TGT, PRT Posts

The Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, has released Recruitment Notification 01/2026 for 254 teaching and non-teaching posts, including Principal, Vice-Principal, PGT, TGT, Librarian, PRT, PRT Music and Balvatika Teacher. Online applications start on 2 November 2026 and the last date is 22 November 2026 (11:50 PM). Selection is by a computer based test, with a teaching skill test or interview for some posts.

Vacancy Details

• Category-wise: UR 112, OBC (NCL) 68, SC 33, ST 16 and EWS 25.
• Pay Levels run from Level 6 for PRT to Level 12 for Principal in the 7th CPC pay matrix.

Eligibility

• Principal and Vice-Principal: a Master's degree with 50% marks, a B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-education qualification, relevant experience and computer knowledge.
• PGT: a relevant Master's degree with 50% marks and B.Ed. TGT: a relevant Bachelor's degree with B.Ed. in the prescribed subject combination.
• Librarian: a Bachelor's degree in Library Science. PRT: Class 12 with 50% and D.El.Ed. or B.El.Ed. Balvatika Teacher: Class 12 with a nursery or early childhood education qualification.
• A valid CTET certificate is needed for PRT and for TGT posts where the notice requires it.
• Age is counted from the original closing date. The minimum is 18 years and the maximum is 30 for PRT, Balvatika and PRT Music, 35 for TGT and Librarian, 40 for PGT, 35 to 45 for Vice-Principal and 35 to 50 for Principal, with relaxation as per rules.

Application Fee

• GST is extra and the fee is not refunded.

Selection Process

• Computer based test: 150 questions for Principal and Vice-Principal in 2 hours 30 minutes, and 120 questions for the other posts in 2 hours. There is no negative marking.
• Principal and Vice-Principal: final merit is 50% CBT and 50% interview.
• Other posts: a qualifying teaching skill test after the CBT, then merit by CBT marks.
• Document verification and a medical examination follow.
