Bastar Fighter Recruitment 2026: Bijapur Dantewada 545 Posts

The Superintendents of Police of Bijapur and Dantewada districts in Chhattisgarh have issued separate advertisements for Bastar Fighter Constable posts. Bijapur has 417 posts and Dantewada has 128, a total of 545. Only local residents of the district concerned can apply. Forms are accepted offline from 2 November 2026 to 12 December 2026, till 5 PM. The pay is Pay Level 4 of the state pay matrix with allowances.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Only local residents of Bijapur district (for Bijapur posts) or Dantewada district (for Dantewada posts).
• Education: 10th pass from a school in Chhattisgarh or Madhya Pradesh. ST candidates with 5th pass are eligible.
• Naxal-affected families and families living in relief camps, of every category, are eligible with 5th pass.
• Age: 18 to 28 years on 1 January 2026, with up to 5 years relaxation for SC, ST and OBC and 10 years for local women.
• Height: men 163 cm (ST men 150 cm), women 153 cm (ST women 148 cm).
• Chest for men: 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm expanded (ST 74 and 79 cm), with at least 5 cm expansion.

Selection Process

• Document check and physical measurement.
• Physical test of 100 marks: long jump, high jump, shot put, 100 m and 800 m race, 20 marks each. UR needs 60% and SC, ST, OBC need 50%.
• Written test of 50 marks (objective) for up to 15 times the posts: general knowledge, reasoning, local geography, culture and arithmetic.
• Interview of 20 marks for up to 3 times the posts.
• Bonus up to 30 marks: heavy driving licence 5, NCC or NSS C certificate 5, local dialect 20.

• Bijapur: submit at the SDOP offices of Bhairamgarh, Kutru, Farsegarh, Bhopalpatnam or Awapalli, or send by registered post to SP Bijapur, PIN 494444.
• Dantewada: submit at the SP office Dantewada, SDOP office Kirandul or Geedam police station, or send by registered post to SP Dantewada, PIN 494449.
• Keep the postal receipt and bring it on the recruitment day.
