CMHO Dantewada CHO Recruitment 2026: 6 Posts

The Chief Medical and Health Officer, District South Bastar Dantewada (Chhattisgarh), has issued a notice for contractual recruitment of 6 Community Health Officers under the National Health Mission (NHM). Vacancy Details

Category-wise, the 6 posts are ST (Unreserved) 3 and OBC (Unreserved) 3. No posts are reserved for SC, ST-Women, OBC-Women, UR or Divyang candidates. The post is filled on contract basis as per the Human Resource Policy 2018 of NHM Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility

• B.Sc. Nursing certificate in Community Health Integrated Course, or Post Basic Nursing Certificate in Community Health Integrated Course.
• Live registration in the Chhattisgarh Nursing Registration Council is required.
• The qualification must be from a recognised institute or university.
• Age: minimum 18 years as on 01.01.2026; maximum 70 years for medical posts and 64 years for management posts.
• Applicant must be a local resident of Chhattisgarh state.

Application Fee

The fee is paid by DD in the name of District Health Samiti Dantewada. The amount depends on the monthly honorarium.

• Divyang / SC / ST / Women: Rs 100 (posts with honorarium of Rs 25000 or less per month)
• Other Backward Class (OBC): Rs 200 (posts with honorarium of Rs 25000 or less per month)
• General (Unreserved): Rs 300 (posts with honorarium of Rs 25000 or less per month)

Selection Process

• The final selection list is based on 65 percent marks in educational qualification and experience marks.
• Experience marks: up to 15 for candidates working in NHM, and up to 10 for other candidates.
• The written, skill or interview test carries 20 marks, and candidates must score at least 30 percent of it.
• Candidates may be called for document verification as needed.
