The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rajkot, Gujarat, invites online applications from Indian citizens for two Post-Doctoral Certificate Courses for the January 2027 session. The courses are in Forensic and Medical Jurisprudence (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology) and Cross-Sectional Imaging (Radiology), with one seat each. Both courses are of 1 year duration. No constitutional reservation is available for any seat in these fellowship courses.
Eligibility
- Forensic and Medical Jurisprudence: MD/DNB in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from an MCI/NMC recognized institution.
- Cross-Sectional Imaging: MD/DNB in Radiology from an MCI/NMC recognized institution.
- Upper age limit: 45 years as on the last date of application. Relaxation is given for SC/ST (up to 5 years), OBC (up to 3 years) and PwBD candidates (up to 10, 13 or 15 years depending on category).
- The qualifying exam must be passed by 28 February 2027, and the result must be declared by that date.
Application Fee
- PwBD candidates: Nil
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,000 + 18% GST = ₹1,180
- SC/ST: ₹800 + 18% GST = ₹944
Payment must be made online only. The fee, once paid, will not be refunded.
Selection Process
Selection has a written exam (MCQ based) followed by an interview. The exam carries 80% weightage and the interview 20%. Shortlisting is done in the ratio of 1:6 per vacancy based on exam marks. The date and venue of the exam and interview will be notified on the official website.

- Do not send a hard copy of the application. Bring a print copy to the document verification.
- Pay the fee online.
- Filling more than one application for the same seat will cancel all such applications.
- At the interview, bring original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies, including a No Objection Certificate if you work in a government institution.
