IIT Hyderabad Project Technical Support-III 2026

IIT Hyderabad has advertised one post of Project Technical Support-III in an ICMR-funded research project. This is a project-based job of 11 months, which may be extended based on performance and funding availability. The monthly pay is Rs 28,000 plus 30% HRA. Indian nationals with an MTech or MSc in Life Sciences or Biotechnology, with minimum 60% marks, can apply. The last date to fill the Google form is 12 November 2026.

Vacancy Details

The project is titled "Targeting Lysosomal Cholesterol Sensing Membrane Transceptors for Therapeutic Intervention in Neurological Disorders". The person in this post will carry out project-related experimental research and will analyse and interpret data assigned by the PI (Principal Investigator).

Eligibility and Age Limit

• Minimum: MTech/MSc in any area of Life Sciences or Biotechnology with at least 60% marks
• The degree must already have been awarded
• Desirable: experience in molecular cloning and with model organisms such as yeast and/or Drosophila
• Experience with bioinformatic analysis of large data sets is a plus but not mandatory
• Age limit: 28 years, with relaxation as per norms for SC/ST/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates

Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on academic records and relevant work experience.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be told the online interview date by email.
• Meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call.
• The PI reserves the right to leave the position vacant if no suitable candidate is found.
