Nawada Evening Court Support Staff Recruitment 2026

The Office of the Principal District & Sessions Judge, Nawada has invited applications for contractual support staff in the Evening Court, Nawada. There are 3 posts in total: Stenographer, Clerk and Peon/Orderly, one post each. Only eligible retired employees of the Civil Courts can apply. Applications must reach the office on or before 05.12.2026, either personally or by registered post.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• The applicant must be a retired employee of the Civil Courts.
• Only retired court employees who have retired within the preceding three years, as per guidelines issued by the Hon'ble High Court, Patna, are eligible.
• The applicant must be physically and mentally fit to discharge the duties of the post.
• The applicant must have satisfactory service records and should not have been subjected to any major disciplinary punishment during service.
• For Stenographer, the applicant must have the requisite experience and proficiency in shorthand and typing.
• For Clerk, the applicant must have adequate knowledge and experience of clerical and judicial office work.
• For Peon/Orderly, the applicant must be capable of performing the duties attached to the post.

Terms and Conditions

• The engagement is purely contractual and can be ended at any time, as per the directions of the Hon'ble High Court, Patna.
• The engagement does not give any right to regular appointment or continuation in service.
• Selected candidates must work for a minimum of 5 hours on each working day.
• The competent authority can cancel or modify the advertisement or selection process without giving any reason.
• The decision of the competent authority on selection and engagement is final.
