CSPTCL Recruitment 2026: 1501 AE, JE, DEO Posts

Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company Limited (CSPTCL), on behalf of the three Chhattisgarh power companies, has issued a recruitment notice dated 05/11/2026 for 1501 posts in CSPDCL, CSPTCL and CSPGCL. The CSPTCL Recruitment 2026 covers 195 Class-II officer posts (Advertisement 1/2026) such as Assistant Engineer, Accounts Officer, Medical Officer and Programmer, and 1306 Class-III and IV posts (Advertisement 2/2026) such as Junior Engineer, Data Entry Operator, Attendant (Plant) Gr. III, Stenographer and paramedical staff. This notice includes the vacancy changes made by the two corrigenda of 14/09/2026 to the earlier notice of 07/08/2026. Online applications are open from 06/11/2026 to 26/11/2026. Most Class-III and IV posts are only for candidates with Chhattisgarh domicile.

Vacancy Details

Company-wise, CSPGCL has 572 posts, CSPDCL 650, CSPTCL 102 and the common cadre of all three companies 177. Category-wise and branch-wise break-up (UR, ST, SC, OBC, female, ex-servicemen and PwD) is given in the detailed advertisement.

Eligibility

• Assistant Engineer: four-year B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. (Engg.)/AMIE in the relevant branch (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science/IT or Civil).
• Junior Engineer: three-year Diploma or four-year degree in Engineering in the relevant branch from an AICTE-recognised institute.
• Data Entry Operator: B.E./B.Tech., B.Sc. or BCA in Computer Science/IT, or any graduate with DCA, PGDCA, ITI COPA or a Hindi and English computer typing certificate (5,000 key depressions per hour), as listed in the advertisement.
• Attendant (Plant) Gr. III: two-year ITI in the Fitter, Turner, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic or Electronics trade, along with the school qualification given in the advertisement.
• Paramedical posts: 10+2 with the relevant diploma or degree and registration with the Chhattisgarh council, as listed post-wise.
• Age limit as on 01/01/2026: minimum 21 years (18 years for JE, Attendant, Fire Attendant and some paramedical posts). For CG domicile, maximum 40 years for UR male and 45 years for UR female, SC, ST and OBC (Fire Officer and Sub Fire Officer: 30/35 years, Fire Attendant: 25/30 years). For candidates from other states, Class-II posts allow up to 30 years. Including all relaxations, the maximum age is 45 years.
• Domicile: most Class-III and IV posts and the security, law and IR posts are open only to Chhattisgarh domicile candidates.

Application Fee

• Officer posts, JE, Sub Fire Officer, Security Inspector and Security Sub Inspector: UR Rs 800, OBC Rs 700, SC/ST Rs 600.
• Stenographer, DEO, paramedical posts, Attendant (Plant) Gr. III and Fire Attendant Gr. II: UR Rs 400, OBC Rs 300, SC/ST Rs 200.
• Eligible departmental employees of the CG power companies are exempted. The fee is paid online only (debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI).

Selection Process

• Online CBT of 2 hours with 100 MCQs of 1 mark each: Part I professional subject (80 questions) and Part II general knowledge, English, Hindi and reasoning (20 questions). 0.25 mark is deducted for each wrong answer.
• AE, Accounts Officer, Medical Officer, Programmer and Shift Chemist: CBT, document verification of 3 to 5 times the vacancies, then an interview of 10 marks.
• Fire Officer and Security Officer: CBT, physical fitness examination, then interview.
• Security and fire posts below officer level: CBT and physical test. Stenographer: CBT, shorthand and typing tests. DEO: CBT and Hindi and English typing test (5,000 key depressions per hour).
