FMGE October 2026 Admit Card and Exam Date

The NBEMS has released the Information Bulletin for the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) October 2026 session. The screening test is scheduled for 31-10-2026, and admit cards are planned to be issued on 27-10-2026. Indian citizens who hold a primary medical qualification from abroad must pass this screening test to get provisional or permanent registration with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.

Exam and Admit Card Details

• Conducting body: National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS)
• Purpose: to pass the mandatory screening test so that registration with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council can happen

• Applications can only be submitted online through the NBEMS official website.
• Document deficiencies can be rectified by 21-10-2026.
• Candidates declared ineligible before the exam will not get an admit card.
• A candidate can submit only one application form for this session.
• Candidates who fail to submit the required documents will not be allowed to appear in the exam.
• Candidates must have passed their MBBS or equivalent degree on or before 31-08-2026 and must submit proof of it while applying.
• Foreign medical degrees must be attested by the Embassy of India or apostilled by the appropriate authority of the foreign country.
