JRHMS Community Health Officer Recruitment 2026

The Jharkhand Rural Health Mission Society (JRHMS) has invited online applications for 1038 backlog posts of Community Health Officer (CHO) under National Health Mission Jharkhand. The post is a one-year contractual service and selected candidates will get a fixed pay of Rs 25,000 per month. The last date to apply online is 22 November 2026.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Qualification: B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with an integrated certificate programme in Community Health (CPCH) from a recognised nursing college, passed in or after academic year 2016-2020.
• Age limit (as on 22 November 2026): 35 years for General and EWS, 37 years for OBC (BC-I and BC-II), 38 years for Female Unreserved, 40 years for ST/SC. For PH candidates the age relaxation is 45, 45, 47, 48 and 50 years in the same order.
• Age limit basis: it is fixed as per Circular no. 03 dated 02.01.2026 of the Government of Jharkhand.

Application Fee

Selection Process

• The notice does not describe a detailed selection method. Selected candidates will be appointed as CHO.
• Pay: fixed Rs 25,000 per month plus performance-based incentive of up to Rs 15,000 per month, as per relevant guidelines.
• The contract is for one year and may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance and requirement.
• If any ineligibility or false information is found at any stage, the candidature will be cancelled.
