Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has released Advertisement No. 03/2026-2027 for Group A and Group C non-teaching posts at its Computer Center. The posts include System Engineer, Maintenance Engineer (Junior), Computer Operator Grade-I, AC Operator, Laboratory Attendant and Workshop Attendant. Online applications are invited, the last date to apply online is 25.11.2026, and the downloaded hard copy must reach the office by 30.11.2026.

Eligibility
- System Engineer: M.Tech/M.E./M.S. or B.Tech./B.E., MCA or M.Sc. with at least 55% marks, plus relevant experience of 5 to 8 years depending on the qualification. Age limit 50 years.
- Maintenance Engineer (Junior): B.E./B.Tech. in ECE or CSE with at least 55% marks and five years of experience. Age limit 40 years.
- Computer Operator Gr.-I: B.Sc. in Computer Science, BCA, or B.Sc. with PGDCA, each with at least 55% marks. Age limit 32 years.
- AC Operator: ITI (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) and two years of experience in plants over 500 TR. Age limit 32 years.
- Laboratory Attendant: Intermediate with science and a computer hardware certificate course of at least six months. Age limit 32 years.
- Workshop Attendant: High School, ITI in a relevant trade and one year of experience. Age limit 32 years.
Application Fee
- UR, EWS and OBC (Group A): Rs. 1000/-
- UR, EWS and OBC (Group B and C): Rs. 500/-
- No fee for SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates.
Selection Process
Selection will be through a written test and a skill test. The syllabus will be notified by the University later. Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents.
How to Apply
- Register and fill the online application on the official website www.bhu.ac.in/rac.
- Upload a photograph and signature in JPEG format, each not exceeding 50 KB.
- After online submission, pay the fee (if applicable) through the payment gateway.
- Send the downloaded hard copy with all enclosures to the Registrar's office, BHU, Varanasi – 221005.
- No changes can be made after final submission.
