BPSC ASO Mains Result 2026 Out: 41 Selected

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the result of the Main Competitive Examination for Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts under Advertisement No. 37/2025. The result is dated 27 October 2026 and 41 candidates have been recommended against 41 vacancies. The Mains exam was held on 27 February 2026, and 609 candidates appeared in it. The notice gives the list of successful candidates category-wise with their roll numbers, and the category-wise cut-off marks.

• Candidates who appeared in the Mains exam: 609
• Candidates in the combined merit list (on the basis of General Knowledge marks): 594
• Candidates called for document verification: 57, of whom 3 were absent
• Candidates recommended: 41 for 41 vacancies
• Eleven candidates who claimed disability benefit were declared ineligible for the Mains result, because 5 of them were found below the 40% benchmark disability at IGIMS, Patna and 6 did not appear for the disability check.

• Open the result notice on the official BPSC website and look for your roll number in your category list.
• The marks sheet of the candidates will be made available soon in their login ID, as the notice says.

Important Notes

• The result can be corrected if a typing or clerical mistake is found.
• The appointment of one EWS candidate depends on a pending court case (Sessions Trial No. 153/2025 in Muzaffarpur), as stated in the notice.
