IBPS Server Admin, Assistant Recruitment 2026

IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) has invited online applications for direct recruitment to Server Administrator (Gr. D), Assistant (Gr. B) and Programming Assistant (Gr. B) posts. Applications can be submitted from 29 October 2026 to 12 November 2026. All three posts are based in Mumbai, and candidates living in Mumbai will get preference. Vacancy Details

Eligibility

• Age as on 01.10.2026: 25 to 33 years for Server Administrator; 23 to 30 years for Assistant and Programming Assistant.
• Education: B.E/B.Tech (Electronics / Computer Science / IT or equivalent) for Server Administrator; bachelor's degree with minimum 60% aggregate marks for Assistant; BSc-IT / BCA / BSc-Computer Science or an engineering degree in Computer Science / IT for Programming Assistant.
• Experience: minimum 3 years of work experience in related field for Server Administrator; minimum 2 years post-qualification work experience for Assistant and Programming Assistant.
• Degrees obtained through correspondence, distance education or open university are not acceptable.
• Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate and police verification at the time of joining.

Application Fee

• Application fee: Rs. 250/- for each candidate (online payment only).
• Bank transaction charges for online payment have to be borne by the candidate.

Selection Process

• Selection is through an online examination followed by a personal interview.
• Server Administrator exam: 100 marks (Aptitude 30 questions, Professional Knowledge 70 questions).
• Assistant exam: 100 marks (General Awareness, Knowledge of English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and Knowledge of Computer, 20 marks each).
• Programming Assistant exam: 100 marks (Aptitude 50 questions, Professional Knowledge 50 questions).
• For each wrong answer, one fourth (0.25) of the marks of that question is deducted.
• Selected candidates will be on a probation period of one year from the date of joining.
• Selected candidates for Server Administrator, Programming Assistant and Assistant must execute a service bond of Rs. 1 lakh.

• Register first, and note the provisional registration number and password generated by the system.
• Upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, brief resume (pdf) and the 10th standard certificate.
• No change is allowed after clicking COMPLETE REGISTRATION, so check all details carefully before that step.
