MCA NFRA Full-Time Member Recruitment 2026

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has invited applications to fill one (1) full-time member post in the National Financial Reporting Authority (NFRA). Completed applications in the prescribed format must reach Shri Bhanu Sharma, Under Secretary, by 16 November 2026. The head office of NFRA is in New Delhi, and only Indian nationals can apply.

Eligibility

• Qualification: As per the NFRA (Manner of Appointment and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson and Members) Rules, 2018, a full-time member shall be a person of ability, integrity and standing.
• Experience: Expertise and experience of not less than twenty years in the field of accountancy, auditing, finance or law.
• Only Indian nationals need apply.
• The member shall not be associated with any audit firm, including related consultancy firms, during the appointment and for two years after ceasing to hold it.
• Before appointment, the member must submit a declaration confirming no conflict of interest or lack of independence.

Salary and Tenure

• Salary option: A consolidated monthly salary of five lakh rupees without house and car, or pay and allowances admissible to an Additional Secretary to the Government of India.
• Tenure: Three years from the date of entering office or till age 65, whichever is earlier. Eligible for re-appointment for one more term.

Selection Process

• Selection will be done by a Search-cum-Selection Committee.
• The committee is free to recommend any other person, based on merit, who has not applied.

• Fill the form in Annexure-I with personal details, education, experience and a passport photo, and attach two referee testimonials if you are not a serving government servant.
• Serving government employees must attach the certificates in Appendix "A" and send the application through proper channel.
• Send the application to Shri Bhanu Sharma, Under Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Room No. 13049, 'A' Wing, 3rd Floor, Kartavya Bhawan, New Delhi - 110 001.
• Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be considered.
